Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Context Relay Protocol™ ("CRP"), including the software, documentation, APIs, and website at crprotocol.io, provided by Constantinos Vidiniotis / AutoCyber AI Pty Ltd (ABN 22 697 087 166) ("Licensor", "we", "us").

By downloading, installing, or using CRP, you agree to these Terms.


1. License Grant

CRP is licensed under the Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2). Subject to the terms of the ELv2, you are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, distribute, make available, and prepare derivative works of the software.

1.1 Limitations

You MAY NOT:

  • Provide the software or any derivative work to third parties as a managed service (including SaaS, PaaS, hosted API, or similar offerings) without a separate commercial license from the Licensor.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, license headers, or attribution notices in the source code or documentation.
  • Use the CRP™, Context Relay Protocol™, or CKF™ trademarks in a manner that suggests endorsement by or affiliation with the Licensor without written permission.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any license enforcement mechanisms in the software.

1.2 Commercial Licensing

For managed-service deployments, OEM licensing, or enterprise use, contact contact@crprotocol.io.


2. Intellectual Property

2.1 Ownership

All intellectual property rights in CRP, including but not limited to copyrights, patents, trade secrets, and trademarks, are owned by the Licensor. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.

2.2 Trademarks

"Context Relay Protocol", "CRP", "CKF", and "Contextual Knowledge Fabric" are trademarks of Constantinos Vidiniotis / AutoCyber AI Pty Ltd. Use of these marks is governed by our Trademark Policy.

The CRP source code, specification documents, and documentation are protected by copyright law. Copyright notices must be preserved in all copies and derivative works.

2.4 Contributions

By contributing to CRP, you agree to the Contributor License Agreement described in CONTRIBUTING.md, which assigns necessary IP rights to the Licensor.


3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use CRP to develop competing managed-service offerings without a commercial license.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Use CRP in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Redistribute the software without preserving all copyright and license notices.
  • Misrepresent the origin of the software or claim authorship of substantial portions you did not write.
  • Use the software to build tools for automated exploitation, malware creation, or security control bypass.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

The Licensor does not warrant that:

  • The software will meet your requirements.
  • The software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from use of the software will be accurate or reliable.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR AUD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.


6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Licensor from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the software in violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Termination

Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of the terms. Upon termination:

  • You must cease all use of the software.
  • You must destroy all copies in your possession.
  • Sections 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8 survive termination.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.


9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
